Quinta do Perdigão, Since 1999, has the most prized wine in the Dãi region, nationally and internationally.

The farm is located at an altitude of 365 meters, in Pindelo de Silgueiros, Silgueiros, 9 km from Viseu. These lands are on the first embankment of the river Dão, the river bed is of an altitude of 200 meters. They were the lands of Henry the Navigator, the first Duke of Viseu. It is a family production of only 7 hectares of vineyard, with organic certification.

Quinta do Perdigão

The estate's vineyard has a dense plantation of about 5.000 vines per hectare. We produce small quantities of high quality wine from the red grapes Touriga-Nacional, Alfrocheiro-Preto, Tinta-Roriz / Aragonês (Tempranillo) and Jaen (Tinta Mencia) and from the white grape Encruzado.

Our red, rosé and white wine produced, is the result of the extremely selective harvesting of our grapes that takes place in July and August with a first green harvesting, and then a rigorous manual harvest in September. The wine from Quinta do Perdigão is highly represented in Portugal, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, England, Ireland, Japan, Norway, Spain, Switzerland and U.S.A. (N.Y.).
